Introducing our 50 Days’ Prayer Space

An inviting space.  Do call  in – all are welcome!

On the Saturday before Easter, after Churchwarden Carolyn and her husband Peter had moved the pews, my husband Martyn and I helped our Curate Pippa to set up the chapel at All Saints’ church as a Prayer Space, dedicated to our special 50 days of prayer. We hoped that it would look welcoming and inviting, and we prayed that not only would God’s presence be felt by all those coming into the space, but also that His Holy Spirit would fill it with a sense of peace and tranquillity.

The Prayer Space is available during the 50 days between Easter (16th April) and Pentecost (4th June) for anyone to come and pray at any time during the day or evening.  There will be various resources available to assist and guide us in our prayer, which will be changed each week to reflect the theme.  We hope that these resources may help us to discover new and creative ways to communicate with God.

Every Tuesday during this period, we would encourage you to join with others for facilitated times of prayer between 9.15am and 10.15am, and then between 8pm and 9pm.

All are welcome to join us at any time whether or not you attend All Saints’.  We are praying especially for our community and would love to see you!

Martyn
